Figuring out how to respond in a meaningful way to the challenges of our life is a profoundly human task. This year we’re asking our faculty to help us understand the most urgent challenges shared by people living in Las Américas: protest movements against racial injustice and sexual harassment, the fallout of COVID-19, and upcoming major elections that will affect our futures.
How are (and have) people across Las Américas responding to the most pressing challenges of today? How do we come together to work towards a better world, or find ways to heal in challenging times? LAC programming in 2020-2021 will inform and inspire students about these challenges as faced by people in Latin America & the Caribbean, as well as among migrants from those regions in the United States.
